USDBF Level 1 Officials Training Course Registration Information

The United States Dragon Boat Federation (USDBF) is the Governing Body for Dragon Boat Sport in the United States.Periodically the USDBF offers a Level 1 Officials Training Course to begin the training of new officials.  This training seminar is the first phase for obtaining your USDBF Race Official Certificate (ROC).

The USDBF is excited to announce that the next training session will be administered in person at Nathan Benderson Park, Sarasota, Florida. This is an onsite only training. The training will take place over a two-day period and will be held at Nathan Benderson Tower.

Wednesday, October15, 2025,from 6:00PM to 9:30PM EDT​​
Thursday,     October 16, 2025,from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM EDT

This course covers: race organization, program, racing rules andprotocol, and the roles and responsibilities of dragon boat officials.  After you have completed this course, you are then required tocomplete a minimum of four hours of hands-on officiating experience at each station in order to be considered for Level 1 National Certification.

Fee:​$125 per USDBF Member ; $150 if you are not a member of the USDBF

Registration and payment must be received no later than Friday, October 3, 2025. Members must log into USDBF in order to register as a member. More information, along with directions to the meeting site will be sent out prior to the course start date.
